Four consecutive victories would be celebrated at the 4 Ore of Monza. If this first experience could be considered a test, the real debut was at the 4 Ore of Monza – among the most important events in the world for Turismo cars – with the Giulia Sprint GTA of De Adamich-Zeccoli dominating the race, followed by six other twins Giulia GTA. It was precisely at Monza that many of its sporting successes were celebrated: after its introduction at the Amsterdam Motor Show, the race debut was at the 1000 Km of Monza in 1965 with two cars enrolled in the prototype category, awaiting homologation in the turismo class. In fact, the Giulia GTA is one of the most successful models in the brand’s history and its highest achievement in terms of sportiness. Meanwhile, there will be 100 Giulia GTAs and their owners at the event to celebrate the 100 years of the Monza Circuit, ones which have witnessed Alfa Romeo’s most unforgettable motorsport success stories. As always, the response from the Clubs was enthusiastic. The idea of involving Alfa’s fans was launched on June 24 th at the Alfa Romeo Club Meeting, which brought together representatives of Clubs from around the world at the Arese Museum. ![]() In order to recount the 112-year history of this brand’s Italian sporty driving since 1910, 112 collection members of official brand clubs will take part in the event and each one will be represented by an iconic vehicle. Interestingly, the number of the event’s participants was by no means chosen at random. The Tribe Day is an international event which will gather the brand’s fans from all around Europe.
